(Louisville, KY) - The state's largest school district will continue distance learning until late October.
The recommendation of Jefferson County Public Schools' superintendent was approved by the district's board Tuesday night.
Last week, the superintendent recommended non-traditional instruction continue until the end of October due to coronavirus concerns.
Jefferson County is currently in the orange category when it comes to cases of COVID-19, with the Kentucky Department of Public Health recommending remote learning for those in the orange or red category.
