Grand Jury Member Wants Taylor Case Transcripts Released

Billboards Placed Across Louisville Call For The Arrest Of Police Officers Involved In Killing Of Breonna Taylor

(Louisville, KY) - A Kentucky grand jury member is taking action to reveal more details in the Breonna Taylor case.

A motion filed in court calls for the grand jury transcripts to be released. That's what Taylor's family and the governor have been asking for.

The juror claims last week's decision not to charge any of the three officers with killing the 26-year-old wasn't theirs alone. The motion accuses the attorney general of using jurors as a shield.

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron's office says a recording of the grand jury proceedings in the Breonna Taylor case will be made public this week.  The move comes after a grand juror filed a motion to release the transcripts and recordings related to the investigation.

One officer who was later fired is charged with endangering neighbors. He's pleaded not guilty.
