(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear is updating the people of Kentucky on the state of the pandemic.
Beshear delivered a special address Thursday afternoon about the commonwealth's status in the fight against COVID-19.
The governor said the focus for fighting the virus must shift as the country enters flu season, and that the flow of information must continue.
His address came after Kentucky surpassed the 1,00 mark for total COVID-19 deaths Wednesday, and as the commonwealth recorded its highest single-day total of COVID-19-related deaths yesterday at 22.
