State Rep. Pre-Files Breonna's Law To Do Away With No-Knock Warrants

(Louisville, KY) - A Kentucky lawmaker is pre-filing a bill known as Breonna's Law.

Democratic Representative Attica Scott says the legislation would end what she called "home invasions" by police with no-knock warrants.

It would also mandate drug and alcohol screenings for police following deadly police action, and require body cameras be worn and in use when warrants are served.

LMPD had a no-knock warrant when Taylor was shot and killed during a March drug rain on her home.
