Sen. McConnell Says USPS Will be Ready For Election

Senators Hold Media Availability After Weekly Policy Luncheons

(Hart Co., KY) - The postal service is going to be just fine.

Those are the words of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell regarding concerns about the U.S. Postal Service in advance of November's general election.

The Kentucky Republican says Congress will make sure that the ability to function going into the election is not adversely affected.

There has been a great deal of concern in recent weeks about the USPS and its ability to handle the large influx of mail-in ballots that is expected this election.

In addition, President Trump has been questioning the validity of mail-in voting for months.
