(Bardstown, KY) - Family members of Crystal Rogers say the FBI taking over the case was long overdue.
Sherry Ballard says she has called for federal authorities to handle the five-year-old case from the beginning.
The FBI announced last week it was taking over lead investigation duties after human remains were found on the Nelson County line.
The Bardstown mother of five was reported missing by her mom in early July of 2015 with her car found abandoned on the Bluegrass Parkway two days later.
