(Louisville, KY) - More high-speed internet access is coming to the Russell neighborhood in Louisville.
Mayor Greg Fischer says the service will be free and that 30 new hotspots will be installed, doubling the access in the area.
About 80% of people in Russell don't have the internet, and this project gives them access to tele-health, job opportunities and online learning.
It is also meant to provide more access to Jefferson County Public Schools students as classes start online this year.
