(Louisville, KY) - The president of the Louisville Urban League is criticizing Mayor Greg Fischer's response to the police-involved death of Breonna Taylor.
In an open letter to Mayor Fischer posted to Facebook, Sadiqua Reynolds said Fischer has protected a police department "unworthy of his cover."
Reynolds added that while she used to think there was no one better to be mayor, Fisher now "deserves to have his political career ended with an asterisk." She called on the mayor to show "that Black lives matter in Louisville."
