Louisville AD See College Football Facing 'Tight Window'

George Mason v Louisville

(Louisville, KY) - Louisville athletic director Vince Tyra said in a conference call with the media there is a "tight window" to sort things out for the Cardinals to kickoff the football season on September 2nd against North Carolina State.

Tyra said he supports the ACC decision to postpone a decision on fall sports scheduling until late July. He said if it is an unstable pandemic environment, he doesn't foresee the football season starting on schedule. He also notes the ACC is spread over 10 states, making it more difficult.

The University of Louisville also announced a $3.5 million gift from The Galt House Hotel on Wednesday.
