In Texas, people under the age of 30 are testing positive for COVID at a higher rate than before, leading to a recent spike in the number of cases in the state, according to Gov. Greg Abbott. And in California, an analysis released this week shows that more than 44% of new diagnoses are in people age 34 or younger, up from 29% a month ago.
