Beyoncé Demands Justice For Breonna Taylor, Family

US-ENTERTAINMENT-MOVIE-DISNEY-LION KING

Beyoncé is asking Kentucky's attorney general to bring charges against the police officers involved in the death of Breonna Taylor.

In an open letter to Daniel Cameron, the singer asked three things: to bring charges against the officers, commit to transparency in the prosecution of the officers and to investigate LMPD's response to the death of Taylor and other black citizens.

She says his office not only has the power but the responsibility to bring justice for Taylor and demonstrate the value of a black woman's life.

LMPD says Taylor was shot to death in March when her boyfriend fired at officers during a drug raid on her home.
