(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear says he and his cabinet have formulated a plan to attack racial inequality in the state.
He says a multi-part campaign is being launched to provide all individuals in the African-American community with health care.
Beshear cited the inequality in the health care system as a reason COVID-19 is affecting people of color in a disproportionate way.
Secretary Michael Brown announced new law enforcement training proposals, and Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman reported on a three-pronged approach to addressing inequality in education.
