Gov. Beshear Outlines New Procedures For June Elections

Voting ballot: Absentee voting by mail with candidates and measures

(Frankfort, KY) - An executive order by Gov. Beshear is outlining the election procedures that will be put in place for elections in June.

The state primary, special elections and local option elections are now scheduled for June 23rd.

The order says regulations will be created by the Kentucky State Board of Elections and will allow all Kentuckians to register to vote by mail through an absentee ballot.

Beshear also has a plan in the works to safely conduct in-person voting and possibly drive-thru voting.
