(Louisville, KY) - University of Louisville researchers are reporting promising news for technology developed at the school in the fight against COVID-19.
They say the technology is based on synthetic DNA called an aptamer, which may stop the novel coronavirus from replicating.
UofL is planning to ask the Food and Drug Administration for approval to start treating patients who are seriously affected by COVID-19.
