(Louisville, KY) - The Kentucky Department of Education says three more JCPS principals are not fit to lead the turnaround efforts at their schools.

Diagnostic reviews released Monday show the state is recommending that principals at Engelhard Elementary, Trunnell Elementary and Young Elementary be removed and reassigned.

The principals are expected to meet with JCPS Superintendent Marty Pollio to determine the next steps.

The state has now recommended that nine JCPS principals should not be retained in their positions.
