(Louisville, KY) - A major thoroughfare connecting the Highlands and St. Matthews is closed.
Lexington Road between Grinstead Ave. and Stilz Ave. will be shut down for over two months.
The road will be closed until the end of April as part of a three-year, $26 million plan to repair a nearly 100-year-old pipeline.
The construction to repair the pipe under Lexington Road started last May.
