(Louisville, KY) - Louisville is expected to get at least two Real ID offices this year.
Kentucky transportation officials are looking at spaces in southwestern Jefferson County and also a more centrally located office.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials told lawmakers Monday most, if not all, of the first dozen or more offices across the state are expected to be open by late spring.
As of October 1st, Kentucky driver's licenses alone will not get people onto domestic flights, military bases or in federal courthouses.
