Gov. Beshear Stresses Unity In State Of Commonwealth Address

(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear is stressing unity as part of his State of the Commonwealth address.

Beshear spoke Tuesday emphasizing bipartisanship ahead of the release of his budget proposal in two weeks.

The governor said his budget will "embrace higher education" and repeated his call for the legislature to legalize expanded gaming.

He also said the commonwealth must deal with racial inequality in the justice system.
