(Louisville, KY) - Flu cases are on the rise in Louisville.
Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness says 886 cases were reported between December 22nd through December 28th. That's a 30-percent increase compared to the previous week.
The health department is recommending everyone get a flu shot but says children under five, especially those under two-years-old, pregnant women, the elderly and people with chronic medical conditions are most at risk.
