Senate Majority Leaders Talks Trump Impeachment

Senate Lawmakers Speak To The Press After Weekly Policy Luncheons

(Louisville, KY) - Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell believes everything that could be said has been said when it comes to the impeachment of President Trump.

Speaking in his home state of Kentucky Monday morning, McConnell talked about the possibility of calling witnesses during a Senate trial, adding they'll find out when the Senate returns following the Christmas break.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has yet to send the articles of impeachment over to the Senate Chamber.

Pelosi says she is withholding the articles until the House knows what sort of trial the Senate will conduct.
