(Frankfort, KY) - A Kentucky lawmaker is proposing a bill to legalize marijuana in the commonwealth.
Under Representative Cluster Howard's pre-filed bill, revenue from taxes on cannabis would be used to fund the state's retirement system.
The bill would allow adults 21 and older to use marijuana and would put 75-percent of the license and wholesale tax fees to the Kentucky Employees Retirement System and 25-percent to the Kentucky Teachers Retirement System.
