Texas Teen Accused Of Carving His Name On Girlfriend's Forehead

A 19-year-old from Texas was arrested after he allegedly tied up his girlfriend and carved his name on her forehead. The victim, 22-year-old Catalina Mireles, told police that Jackub Hildreth became angry with her because she was texting other men and tied her up in their San Antonio apartment using an extension cord.

Hildreth reportedly punched her multiple times in the face, which left her with numerous bruises, a black eye, and a broken jaw. He then grabbed a knife and carved "JACK" into her forehead. Mireles thought she was going to die during the hours-long assault.

“He was going to put me in the closet until he figured out what he was going to do with my body,” she told KSAT.

Eventually, Mireles convinced Hildreth to untie her, and she called the police. He left before officers arrived but was taken into custody two days later. At the time of his arrest, Hildreth had two outstanding warrants, including one for assaulting a family member.

He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is being held on a $75,000 bond.
