(Lexington, KY) - Evansville is celebrating a stunning upset over top ranked Kentucky at Rupp Arena.
The Wildcats fell to the Purple Aces 67-64 Tuesday night after 52 straight home wins against opponents outside the Power Five conferences.
It's Evansville's first ever win over the number-one ranked team, and its Kentucky's first loss of the new season.
Coach John Calipari said Evansville fought the whole game and was the tougher team in the end.
The Wildcats will next face Utah Valley Monday night at 7. You can hear the game on NewsRadio 840 WHAS.
