Cameron Defeats Stumbo To Be Elected Kentucky Attorney General

(Louisville, KY) - Daniel Cameron will become the first Republican Attorney General in Kentucky since World War II.

Cameron defeated Democrat Greg Stumbo by over 200,000 votes.

The last Republican to hold the office was Eldon Dummet, from 1943 to 1947. 

Cameron, former University of Louisville football player, is also the first African-American elected as Kentucky's Attorney General.
