(Morehead, KY) - A former Morehead State University employee is facing fraud charges.
Sherri Ward was indicted on October 17th, accused of using a university credit card inappropriately.
The indictment claims Ward fraudulently bought more than $167,000 in merchandise for her own use between December 2017 and July 2019.
Ward also allegedly used a rubber stamp to forge the signature of a professor to request a funds transfer from the university foundation.
An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
