(Washington, DC) - Politico is reporting that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told Republican colleagues that a potential impeachment trial of President Trump could finish by year's end.
The report cites five people familiar with a luncheon McConnell had with other Senate Republicans.
McConnell took time this week to criticize how House Democrats have handled the inquiry so far, saying that "they are denying due process to the President."
