(Louisville, KY) - A national atheist organization is fighting back against Kentucky's law requiring the nation's motto be displayed in public schools.
The Freedom From Religion Foundation has put up billboards designed by a Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist in several Louisville locations.
FFRF is also holding a contest, inviting kids to create artwork that must include the phrase "In God We Trust."
However, it must either protest the motto, subvert the religious intent of the law or demonstrate why the motto isn't appropriate to display in public schools.
