(Washington, DC) - Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senator Rand Paul are expressing different viewpoints regarding plans to withdraw U.S. troops from northern Syria.
The White House announced Monday that U.S. forces will withdraw as Turkish forces plan to invade.
McConnell released a statement citing the "significant security and humanitarian risks" of withdrawing.
Senator Paul said he agrees with the President Trump's decision "to stop our endless wars and have a true America First foreign policy."
