(Louisville, KY) - A lawsuit filed against the NCAA by five former University of Louisville basketball players from the 2013 national championship team is being settled.
The suit claimed the NCAA wrongfully vacated the team's wins, and tarnished the reputations of the players who weren't involved in the program's sex scandal.
The settlement restores the stats and records of the players, including Luke Hancock's recognition as the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player.
The settlement of the suit filed on behalf of Hancock, Gorgui Dieng, Stephan Van Treese, Tim Henderson and Michael Marra was announced Monday.
