(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky's embattled retirement system breaks state transparency laws.
That's what the state auditor is saying, adding that despite the passing of laws to keep things clear, state systems aren't complying.
Mike Harmon says both the Kentucky Retirement Systems and Teachers Retirement System aren't posting all investment contracts and are redacting information inside of them.
Officials with the retirement system says they're only redacting trade secrets.
