Kentucky State Fair Changes Policy After Shooting Scare

(Louisville, KY) - The Kentucky State Fair is changing its policy on unsupervised minors after Saturday night's shooting scare.

Organizers now require juveniles entering the fairgrounds after 6 p.m. to be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21.

Those working the gates will be checking IDs and there will be increased lighting and law enforcement at the event during peak hours.

Kentucky State Police are considering charges against a teen who may have fired a gun at the event Saturday night, causing chaos.
