(Frankfort, KY) - JCPS superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio is updating the Kentucky Board of Education on the progress the district is making on a state-mandated plan.
The plan is meant to address widespread problems identified by a state audit.
Dr. Pollio told officials in Frankfort Wednesday more than 60 percent of the corrective action plan has been implemented.
Teachers from the district's 36 worst performing schools are going through five days of additional training this week at a cost of $3 million.
