(Louisville, KY) - Churchill Downs is getting a hotel as early as 2021.
The addition of the hotel, a gaming facility and additional premium seating at the track was announced Thursday during a Churchill Downs Incorporated earnings call.
CDI's CEO Bill Carstanjen said the hotel will include suites overlooking the track. The hotel, along with the gaming facility and added seating, will be located near the first turn.
He said the hotel will allow CDI to keep guests longer and attract additional guests.
