Kelly Knight Craft Confirmed As UN Ambassador

Nominee To Be The Representative To The United Nations Kelly Craft Testifies Before The Senate

(Washington, DC) - Former U.S. Ambassador to Canada Kelly Knight Craft is the new U.S. Ambassador to the UN. 

Craft was confirmed Wednesday and will replace departing U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.

 

She is a top Republican donor from Kentucky and had the support of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. 

Craft met opposition in the confirmation process from Democrats for her views on climate change and her family ties to the coal industry.
