JCPS Working To Be In Compliance With New State Law

(Louisville, KY) - JCPS is working to be in compliance with a new Kentucky law requiring all public schools to display the nation's motto in a prominent place.

Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio says the state's largest school district is creating its own "In God We Trust" signs.

He said the signs are being made right now by the district's Materials and Productions Unit.

First day of classes for JCPS is Wednesday, August 14th.
