LMPD Officer Grazed By Bullet During Foot Pursuit

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- An LMPD officer is grazed by a bullet during a Friday morning foot pursuit.

It happened around 1:30 Friday morning when an officer stopped to talk to two men near 36th and Broadway when the men took off.

LMPD Chief Steve Conrad says at some point during the chase, the officer was grazed by a shot and taken to University Hospital by other officers. Conrad says the two suspects in the incident remain at large.

The officer is expected to make a full recovery.

The officer involved has not yet been identified.
