LMPD Cuts Crossing Guards To 12 Schools Outside Jurisdiction

(Louisville, KY) - A dozen schools outside LMPD's jurisdiction are looking for new crossing guards.

LMPD says it will no longer provide crossing guards at the schools.

The department blamed budget cuts for the change.

LMPD says it is working with police departments near the schools impacted by the change for a smooth transition.
