(Versailles, KY) - Last week's Jim Beam warehouse fire in Versailles has lead to a large fish kill.
Thousands of dead fish are floating on the Kentucky River and piling up on the banks.
The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet says the alcohol plume on the river is about 23 miles long so far.
The plume is entering the Ohio River where it's expected to dissipate as it enters the larger body of water.
