George Takei says he's thinking about taking on Kentucky Senator and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in the next election.
Takei tweeted Thursday that he was "tempted to move to Kentucky" to run against McConnell.
The actor and activist is known for his role as Hikaru Sulu on the original television and movie series Star Trek.
McConnell hasn't lost an election since he defeated Walter "Dee" Huddleston in 1984.
