(Louisville, KY) - Country House is the second longest shot to win the Kentucky Derby.
The horse became the winner of the 145-year-old race after the horse that crossed the finish line first, Maximum Security, was disqualified for impeding the path of War of Will, and possibly other horses.
Maximum Security had been in front for nearly the entire race on the inside track, but went wide around the turn at the top of the stretch.
Country Horse was a 65-1 longshot. The winner with the longest odds to win was Donerail, which went off at 91-1 and won in 1913.
