Louisville Homeless Camp Cleared Out

(Louisville, KY) - A Louisville homeless camp has been cleared out.

CSX Transportation says the encampment near Polish Hill and Phoenix Hill is too close to the train tracks and that people have been camping on private property.

Usually there's a 21-day grace period for encampments, but this group has to leave immediately because they're on private property.

Outreach groups have been working with those experiencing homelessness to find shelter.
