Kentucky To Become First State To Use Rapid DNA Testing For Sexual Assault

(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky will be the first state to use rapid DNA testing for rape kits.

Officials say these tests have helped them identify crime suspects.

From start to finish scientists say they can identify the DNA from samples within two hours.

Kentucky State Police Commissioner Rick Sanders says they will use this technology to go after rapists in the state immediately.
