(Louisville, KY) - The Metro government is asking the city's union workers to accept a pay freeze as Louisville tries to cover a $65 million budget deficit.
The proposal calls for a freeze from July 1st of this year through June 30th of next year.
It also calls for freezing pay increases for non-union workers.
The proposal asks for a response by today with the budget to be released this month.
