(Lexington, KY) - Kentucky coach John Calipari says PJ Washington's status for the university's upcoming NCAA Tournament game is a "day-to-day" situation.
Washington continues to recover from a foot sprain he suffered in the SEC Tournament.
The top scorer and star rebounder tweeted a short clip of himself walking in basketball shoes.
Calipari confirmed that Washington didn't practice with the team Wednesday and he was seen in a walking boot as the team prepared to travel.
Kentucky will play Houston in the Sweet 16 Friday night at 10 p.m. Coverage begins at 8 p.m. on NewsRadio 840 WHAS.
