(Louisville, KY) - Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin is speaking out on social media against teacher sickouts.
Bevin posted a nearly four-minute video on YouTube Monday night, saying teachers are taking time away to protest at the Legislature at expense of their students.
The governor specifically called out the Jefferson County teachers union for Tuesday's sickout which caused ACT testing scheduled for today to be postponed.
ACT testing in Jefferson County has been pushed back to April 24th.
