LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Shively Police have released body camera footage from Thursday's) officer-involved shooting.
It happened on at San Jose Avenue and Grandview Drive as police were searching for a suspected prowler.
Shively Police Officer Steve Becker shot 26-year-old Terry Sams after Sams allegedly pointed a gun at the officer.
Sams was last listed in stable condition.
Officer Becker has been placed on leave pending the investigation.
Sams is charged with wanton endangerment, fleeing and evading police, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, criminal trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia.
