Gov. Bevin Calls For More Tax Reform During State Of Commonwealth Address

(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Matt Bevin is calling for a consumption-based tax to replace income taxes to make Kentucky more competitive with neighboring states.

Bevin also used a PowerPoint slideshow to highlight progress that's been made in his term during Thursday night's State of the Commonwealth address.

The governor spoke little about pension reform. Bevin discussed cultural issues such as efforts to restrict abortions.
