PETERSBURG, Ky. -- Authorities say two brothers in northern Kentucky were victims of last week's cold snap.
A preliminary report by the medical examiner's office says 72-year-old Obie Fugate and his 67-year-old brother Roy died of hypothermia..
They were last heard from on Wednesday, when subzero temperatures and wind chills hit the region.
A family member found the brothers. Their truck was stuck in the mud at the end of a long driveway to their home in Boone County. Obie was found dead halfway up the driveway. Roy was found dead on the front porch.
