Castleman Statue To Remain In Cherokee Triangle For Now

(Louisville, KY) - The John B. Castleman statue in Cherokee Triangle is staying put.

Critics want the statue removed due to Castleman's time as a Confederate officer.

The Cherokee Triangle Architectural Review Committee took a vote Wednesday night on whether to allow Louisville to remove the statue.

The vote was a tie, meaning the statue will stay for now.
