(Washington, DC) - A video of teens appearing to mock a Native American Vietnam veteran is going viral on social media.
Some of the teens who were identified as attending Covington Catholic High School in northern Kentucky were wearing "Make America Great Again" hats.
Nathan Phillips was singing a Native American song near the Lincoln Memorial as part of the first Indigenous People's March on Friday. The teens were there for the March for Life Rally.
One of the teens is seen standing inches away from Phillips for most of the video.
The Diocese of Covington and Covington Catholic High School issued a statement saying they are investigating and will take appropriate action, up to and including expulsion.
They also apologized to Phillips and March for Life attendees.
